The variety of snow sports equipment has grown over the years and there are tons of new ways to slide down the mountain. With equipment constantly evolving it can be hard to keep track of what equipment is allowed on the mountain and what is not.

In order to keep our guests and employees safe, there are certain devices that are allowed and not allowed at Echo Mountain. The most basic requirement is that all devices need to have metal edges and a retention device to keep them from flying down the mountain if they come disconnected from your feet.

List of Approved Devices

We put together a comprehensive list of all the devices that are allowed on and prohibited on the mountain. Every device needs metal edges, a retention device and you must be able to load and unload the chairlift without assistance while using your equipment.
