Echo Friends and Faithful,

Thank you for your support these last few weeks as we've tried tirelessly to get open. This fall and early winter has been a major challenge, and I'm sure for you as for us, a big disappointment and frustration. We are so grateful for the words of encouragement, understanding and support as we've worked to get open.

We are excited to announce that we are officially opening for skiing and snowboarding tomorrow, Tuesday, December 21st. We will be operating weekdays 10:00 am - 4:30 pm (or until daylight allows) and weekends 9:00 am - 4:30 pm (or until daylight allows). We will open with Traveler's Traverse, Upper Full Send, Yard Sale, and the top of Cougar's Crossing to Golddigger. Our Mountain Operations team has been working day and night to make it happen, and they aren't slowing down any time soon. Their focus is now on Middle and Lower Hollywood in an effort to get Night Skiing open as soon as possible.

Since we're opening right into what's expected to be a busier holiday period, we want to ask that everyone be extra careful and safety conscious. With the limited terrain and early season conditions, it will be even more imperative to closely follow each part of every skier and snowboarder's Responsibility Code.

On another note, we are looking for new team members! We are hiring in Ticket Sales, Lift Ops., Rentals, and F&B with wages between $15 and $18/hr., dependent on experience, and offering benefits including an Echo season pass for you and your immediate family, FREE and discounted skiing and riding at most other Colorado ski areas, as well as, other discounts here in F&B, Merch and Rentals. If you or someone you know is looking for full-time or part-time work, and want to do it at a pretty cool place, send them our way!
