SNOW INCOMING!!!

2 - 4 FEET POSSIBLE OVER 3 DAYS

*UPDATE 03/14 CLOSED*

9:15 AM: Echo is closed today, 03/14. With significant snow forecasted for the remainder of the day and road conditions en route to Echo, we are closing to the public to ensure the safety of our employees and guests. Impacted reservations will be refunded.

Hunker down today, the snow will still be here this week!

6:00 AM: We've received a lot of snow in the last 24 hours and will be on a delayed opening today 03/14 to allow for snow removal crews to clear CO-103.

Check back for details and updates throughout the morning!

03/10/2021

Yep, not a typo. We are expecting anywhere from 2 TO 4 FEET of snow between Thursday Night and Sunday Morning. Powder days are what many skiers and snowboarders dream of, but lots of fresh snow can also mean some changes to our operations. Below are some things you need to know!

CHECK FOR UPDATES BEFORE COMING UP

Make sure to check our Website, Social Media, and your Email before heading up here! This way, if we have any impacts to the overall operation or to your specific reservation, you can find out BEFORE making the drive here.

4WD / AWD WILL BE REQUIRED

Road conditions will change rapidly and be very snowy. At an absolute minimum, you'll need tires with great tread and comfortability/experience driving in winter conditions. Depending on your vehicles drivetrain, tire chains or socks may be necessary. You may also want to consider your vehicle's ground clearance.

TUBING CLOSED 03/12 - 03/14

Given the forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we are proactively closing the tubing hill in anticipation of receiving too much snow accumulation. As a result, we have emailed all impacted reservations (all that we have contact info for). If you didn't get an email from us, send us your Transaction ID and Name to info@echomntn.com.

YARD SALE BEGINNER AREA TBD

The Yard Sale Beginner Area is intentionally a low angle slope to make learning how to ski or snowboard easier. But that also means when we get a lot of snow, it can be too flat for guests to slide anywhere. As such, the beginner area and conveyor lift MAY NOT be open Friday - Sunday. Lots of snow makes learning on the rest of the mountain much softer (and dare we say, more fun), but learning to ski or snowboard in deep powder can be very difficult and pose different challenges.

SKI + SNOWBOARD LIFT TICKETS: RESCHEDULING OR CANCELLING

This weekend's storm is a dream scenario for some guests, but not what others are looking for. As a result, be sure to keep in mind our Rescheduling & Cancellation policy, and email us ASAP if you need to make a change to your reservation. Be sure to send your Transaction ID and Name to info@echomntn.com.

If for some reason we have to close skiing and snowboarding, we will offer refunds or reschedules to impacted reservations.

However, if we are open and operating, we will not refund or reschedule same day reservations due to weather or otherwise.

We have some hard set capacity limits and know there are going to be people want to come up this weekend that we won't be able to accommodate because we're planning and preparing for the arrival of those of you that do have reservations!

Questions?

Email us at info@echomntn.com and we'll get back to you as soon as possible, which, admittedly, might be a bit delayed with our small team processing lots of inbound requests, BUT we will definitely get back to you!

Also, WE ARE SUPER EXCITED AND CAN'T WAIT!!!

This weekend should be one for the books! The mountain will be a winter wonderland with fluffy snow and fresh tracks all weekend long.

See you up here soon!
